family fun on the weekend

Gavin dressed up like a horse for Halloween - no candy for him just yet - but he seemed to really enjoy having on his fun outfit.

Gavin's daddy needed to fix some things on their roof, no ladder for him though.
Gavin's mommy drove their spiffy John Deere tractor and hoisted him up to the roof in the front loader.

Gavin and Grandpa Jeff watched - I thinking Gavin was thinking that he can hardly wait until he is big enough to drive that tractor.

Nina spent the afternoon here mostly working on 2 photo album scrapbooks that will be Christmas gifts.

Jeff smoked a tray full of pork loins and chickens - now our freezer is full of yummy cooked meat

I hope all of you had a nice weekend too.

  3. I'm so glad to hear you live in Stillwater! I live in Tulsa. I was so disappointed in the outcome of the Texas/OSU game.

    Your grandson is so cute!

  6. Yes, we had a good weekend even though it rained on Saturday (again)!

Wasn't the CL collection at KMart a nice surprise! I don't usually like anything in that store. I didn't even really like the Martha Stewart stuff. But this collection I just love!

  11. It does look like a great fun, family weekend. I like Gavin's outfit. My grandson was a worker man. He wore overalls and a tool apron. Bob the Builder, I guess. He could have a sucker with supervision, but thats about all.
