Week #14 - 2009



Groceries purchased
2 huge boxes of Gain at Dollar General, used their $5 store coupon and manufact. coupons. ( I won't need detergent for months!)
3 boxes Lipton tea, on sale at Walgreens
2 loaves bread at Dollar Tree
4 gallons OJ (yes, it was on sale)
14 pounds 90% lean ground beef
3 whole chickens
spiral ham for Easter
turkey lunchmeat
6 1/2 pounds assorted cheddar and mozzarella
2 pounds Velveeta
2 gallons milk
18 eggs
22 bottles Kraft salad dressing - on rollback at Walmart for $1.58, used $1.50 coupons on each one (yes, we really do eat a lot of salad and I got the extra coupons on Ebay)
20 pounds potatoes
bananas
romaine hearts
red grapes
carrots,
red onions
celery
yellow onions
celery
roma tomatoes
24 pack sodas
3 boxes jello
bowtie pasta
3 boxes drink mix - used a B2G1F coupon
flour
shortening
brown sugar
sweetner
vanilla
Pam-type spray
saltines
2 bags chips
2 Cascade used $3 coupons on each

Meals served
April 1
chicken and noodles, green salad, cookies
April 2
Pork loin baked with sauer kraut, fried potatoes and salad
April 3
roast beef baked with carrots and potatoes, gravy, green beans with onions, homemade rolls
April 4
biscuits, bacon and eggs for breakfast
sandwiches and chips for lunch
turkey breast with mashed potatoes and gravy, cole slaw and homemade rolls for supper
April 5
struesel puffs for breakfast
lunch at Nina and John's
Chicken chili for supper
April 6
"Oliver Spaghetti" - marinara sauce over pasta topped with shredded sharp cheddar
April 7
