I made these bibs for a baby shower later this month. What do you young mothers out there think about them? The colors are a lot different than what my babies used to wear.
I think I like them but I am not sure. The bottom part on all them is a pocket, to catch crumbs I guess.
And do you prefer the ones on the top row with velcro closures or do you like the old fashioned tie at the neck ones?
The 2 zebra ones seem to look really crooked, but it is just something weird about the picture, I double checked it after seeing this and they really are not lopsided like they look here.
These are for a girl baby, according to the ultrasound anyway.

Rhonda - I'm an old mom, but I love these bibs! They're fresh and fun and modern, as well as SO CUTE! :o)

I think the bibs are cute. Easy to spot on a filled restaurant table when you're getting ready to leave.
ReplyDeleteI always used velcro or snap bibs. Hungry babies and toddlers don't want to wait to get things tied before eating. We used a lot of bibs with both kids so I would have loved a gift like this!
I'm an old lady, but any baby girl would look so chic with these bibs! The young mom will love them! LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm a young mom and I think they are really cute! I'm not big on animal prints, but I love the butterfly ones and the bold colors. I'm also a fan of the velcro tabs.
ReplyDeleteAfter viewing the bibs and reading the comments will have to say I am a REALLY OLD MOM AND GM and it would take me awhile to get used to them. Know Jessica will love, love them! How do you get so much done??? This amazes me, but then you always have and I used to - not any more though. And after looking at the bibs a second time, they are not much wilder than the Circle in a Squares afghans I crocheted this year (4 to be exact). Jimmy has already claimed his. Mom
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I'm young, but I'm definately a mom (waiting on #7 in October) Those are very cute! Do they take much time? I really love the bright colors and should try and whip some out for this baby.
ReplyDeleteI'm a tie person myself, just because you can get a good fit. . .
The bibs are adorable!
