Stick a fork in it.........

It's done!

One of my goals this week was to finish this quilt. I am very happy that is only Tuesday and it is done!
This quilt is big and was a big project. It is queen size - 96 by 108 inches. It looks even bigger because I spread it out on the full size bed in the guest room for the picture.
Thank you to everyone who voted when I asked if this quilt should be sewn together with the black lines forming X's or zig zags. By a big majority, you voted for the X's.

No, there are no more big quilts being planned. For now, I will be having fun with small projects. And I will be moving on to Christmas decorating too.

  1. Rhonda - This is gorgeous! Very lucky kids to get this for Christmas. :o)

  2. From one quilt maker to another, I know what an accomplishment that is. There is so much time and work in a quilt, especially a big one! Its beautiful.

    Good Job Rhonda!

I'm itching to get started on the Cozy Cabins quilt I'm planning.

    Debbie J.

  3. That quilt is a beauty. I like to quilt and am trying to quilt each of my boys a "special" handquilted quilt before they grow up. I have one done so far and am working on the other 2.

  4. It looks beautiful!

I have never made a full size quilt (only baby quilts) I can only imagine the work involved!

  5. Your quilt turned out beautiful. Love the X's...

  6. YOu go girl!! Your quilt is beautiful. I am drooling with envy. Good luck on the next set of projects.

  7. You did a wonderful job. It is beautiful. Who ever gets that as a present this year should feel very very lucky.

  8. Rhonda I gave you an award!

I am so impressed with how you have kept up with your coupon savings on the side bar all year. You have stuck with it so well and saved lots of money.

  9. Beautiful!!!! Bridgette should be very happy at Christmas time.... I'm waiting for mine. :)

  10. Nina - you gonna be waiting a while :)
your bed is a king size, yikes!!!!

  11. Wow!!! This turned out so beautifully! I really don't know how I missed you had finished it. I was thinking I want to put my name on your big quilt list and here you closed the list...lol! I am sure this is going to be a treasured gift.

    Hugs ~
