Stick a fork in it.........

It's done!

One of my goals this week was to finish this quilt. I am very happy that is only Tuesday and it is done!
This quilt is big and was a big project. It is queen size - 96 by 108 inches. It looks even bigger because I spread it out on the full size bed in the guest room for the picture.
Thank you to everyone who voted when I asked if this quilt should be sewn together with the black lines forming X's or zig zags. By a big majority, you voted for the X's.

No, there are no more big quilts being planned. For now, I will be having fun with small projects. And I will be moving on to Christmas decorating too.

  2. From one quilt maker to another, I know what an accomplishment that is. There is so much time and work in a quilt, especially a big one! Its beautiful.

    Good Job Rhonda!

I'm itching to get started on the Cozy Cabins quilt I'm planning.

  3. That quilt is a beauty. I like to quilt and am trying to quilt each of my boys a "special" handquilted quilt before they grow up. I have one done so far and am working on the other 2.

I have never made a full size quilt (only baby quilts) I can only imagine the work involved!

I am so impressed with how you have kept up with your coupon savings on the side bar all year. You have stuck with it so well and saved lots of money.
