I mentioned in this week's grocery post about the Walgreens trash bags I like so much. For some reason, I thought they were the W brand but they are really Tuf brand. I've been buying them for a long time and try to stock up when they are on sale or I have register rewards to use up.
They are very sturdy, have no weird scents - what is it with scented trash bags anyway, if you just take the trash often, then the garbage smells are not a problem anyway?
My mom brought some food dishes here for Thanksgiving and she used Glad Press'n Seal to cover them. I liked it so much, I went out and bought a roll. The stuff is great, it pulls off the roll and cuts easy. And you only need to use a piece 1 inch longer than whatever you are covering.
I use it often but that it lasts a long time. My first roll lasted from the first of December until last week when I bought a new one.
I have always wanted to try press n seal, now I will, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI used that press and seal stuff when I had some surgery and needed to cover the drainage tubes and incisions. I just pressed it on my belly and got in the shower and voila! No water in the incisions.

I'm glad to know about the trash bags. I'm always on the lookout for the best brand for the cheapest price. I'll watch for them to be on sale.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried the press and seal stuff, but it sounds good
