Jeff called me and said he bought a big watermelon for $9 from a man selling them at a gas station out of the back of a pick-up. Watermelons are selling at our local grocery stores for around $4-$5 dollars so I first thought he did not get much of a deal. Folks, it turns out this is a really big watermelon. It weighed 38 pounds on our bathroom scales and measured 37 inches around the middle. And it tastes so much better than any grocery watermelon.
I was wrong, Jeff got a great deal!

I want some!! I want some!! What a beauty of a watermelon!! We have really enjoyed watermelon here this year!!
