Hello friends, I just noticed I have not posted in more than a week. I am fine and still here. My in-laws were here for a 4 day visit over the 4
th of July weekend and I guess that got me all off my regular schedule.
So here is what is new.
My mom found this pile of pinwale corduroy in a picnic basket in their attic while they were getting ready for a garage sale. She does not remember where it came from and I don't remember either. But I really like all the colors and think they will make a great scrap quilt.

My little garden is so much fun. I pick about 2 handfuls
of produce every evening, just about the right amount to keep us in fresh vegetables. We are already making plans for a bigger garden next year.

New shoes and socks from Famous Footwear.
I think that fabric would make a fabulous quilt. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
ReplyDeleteThe fruits of your labor look great. What a blessing!
And lastly, cute socks and shoes. I was just thinking yesterday that your blog was a bit quiet. Glad you are well.
Rhonda,
ReplyDeleteMay I ask what you do with your eggplant? This is my first year growing it - I just have one plant. I have a small one growing already, can't wait.
Take care.
Southerners like everything fried, and while I don't fry all my veggies, I think eggplant is best with a little batter on it and deep fried.
