Winter decorations

I took down all the Christmas decorations on Dec. 26 and the house looked so bare. So I rounded up a few winter themed items and had just enough to make our breakfast look like a mini-winter wonderland.
Snow Baby
I made her out of sparkly white felt with a carrot shaped nose and she is wearing sweater suit that belonged to Nina her second winter.

Thrift store rug and twinkle lights on the valances.

  2. What an adorable idea! And you little snow baby and the rug are just too cute. What a great idea to put the twinkle lights on the valances. Gives real winter sparkle.

  4. Heidi, the twinkle lights are so bright that when I turn them on in the morning just before the sun is up, they provide just enough light that I can sit at the table and read my Bible.
It is a very nice way to start my day.

  6. I love the idea of the winter decorations. Every thing looks so desolate when the Christmas decorations are taken down it makes me sad. Thanks for the ideas.
