A year of savings Day 6 - coupons

I read about the coupons for this Sunday's paper here
http://moneycommonsense.blogspot.com/ and was very happy to see that my local paper had all of the great coupons Money Common Sense talked about. On the way home from church, we stopped and bought 4 more papers.
The $1 Peter Pan coupon savings will pay for the extra papers.
My advice is to scrounge up some extra editions of today's paper if at all possible.

  1. Rhonda - I cut my grocery bill in half using coupons. I have a zippered coupon book that I keep all the coupons - makes it so easy when you go to the store! I buy 5 newspapers a week and they more than pay for themselves! Walgreens has a discounted price for newspapers around here - you might want to check that out. ~Susan in SC

  2. Hi Rhonda,
On Sunday, I was the first customer at the dollar store. Then I went back in the afternoon to pick up one more copy and they were all out of newspapers. Oh well. I didn't get a lot of the ones in that preview list but since I picked up a few copies of the newspaper I have been able to trade for the ones I wanted but didn't get.
