Nina and her place mats

Nina spent the afternoon with us today. It was really nice to see but I think she mostly came over because I have a sewing machine. :)

She made 6 reversible place mats, red and pink hearts on one side for Valentines and shamrocks on the other for St. Patrick's Day.

I think they are really cute.

It was her idea to make them reversible for 2 different holidays - saves on fabric by not having to buy lining and it will use up less room when she stores them away.
