Early Anniversary gifts

Jeff and I will celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary this month. Jeff likes to celebrate a little early and gave me this present last night, a large apothecary jar. I filled it with pink and green eggs. Jeff thinks it should be filled with Starburst jelly beans, his favorite candy. It would sure take a lot of bags of jelly beans to fill it up!
He gave me these 4 large mugs Tuesday night. I love white dishes!

And here is new picture of baby Gavin, he is just about 5 weeks old here.

  2. What a thoughtful husband Jeff is.

The eggs are lovely but I do see Jeff's point. Something pretty that you can still eat. :)

    Happy early Anniversary!

  3. So many pretty things to look at in this post. I love the jar and mugs! I also really like what the mugs are sitting on, did you make that? And, of course, Baby Gavin is the sweetest of all!!

  4. Susan, that placemat was made by my grandmother. I have 4 of them like it in a green theme. I also have 4 in a red theme that a woman we called Aunt Susan made for me for a wedding gift.
They are just scraps, in small squares about 2 inches cut. I have used them so much and never get tired of them.

  5. Lyn, I will buy Jeff some Starburst jelly beans, they are only available at Easter. But this jar is so big, I think it would take about 50 bags to fill it up.
As good as Starburst are, we don't need that many! :)
