Jeff and I went to about 5 yard sales Saturday morning. My favorite find was this set of 8 green goblets, they were 10 cents each.
Anyone know if they are something valuable?
brand new hair ties - free
2 snowmen towels - 25 cents each
Restoration Hardware green urn - 50 cents
The goblets are so pretty and what a buy. They look like Depression Glass but not 100% sure. I usually looks up pieces like that on ebay to see.
ReplyDeleteGreat buys on everything ! 10 cent goblets is unreal - you Scored Big !

I love love love those goblets! I would do some research on Depression Glass ... but regardless of what "brand" they are - they're awesome!
ReplyDeleteWow, I think I'm most excited about that drill press. $20?? That's a steal! Love the wooden hangers, and those green goblets are gorgeous! They look like they could be old. Great deal either way!
ReplyDeleteSome great things! Love the green goblets! Linda
ReplyDeleteWhat a great buy on those hangers!! My closet is in desperate need of hangers, or maybe I should just get rid of some stuff.... no, I think I'll just go thrifting to see if I can find a good buy like you did and expand my hanging capabilities.
ReplyDeleteNow you got a lot of good deals. I haven't even been to a yard sale this year. I have got to go sometime soon.

I don't know anything about the goblets' worth. But shoot, I had some of those I bid on and won on eBay a few weeks ago. And wouldn't you know the lady tripped on the way down the stairs with my ready to mail package of goblets and they broke! Poor woman, she was okay. But not my goblets. Just not meant to be yet I guess. I'm glad you found some though!

You got the coolest things! Restoration Hardware is the neatest store...and everything is so pricey! My mom had some brown goblets just like your green ones when I was young.
ReplyDeleteI think your goblets are Heisey. Check carefully for an H in a diamond shape. If you want you are welcome to contact me through my blog, www.DepressionElegantGlass.com and email me a nice close up of one goblet. They are very nice!
