Valentines decorations

Today, I took down the snowmen and winter decorations and replaced them with hearts for Valentines day. I took these pictures on a sunny afternoon so the sun is making them a bit dark.
My mom crochet all of the hearts that are hung on the shutters. The little silver tree has felt and sequined ornaments I made last year.
To keep with my theme of saving this year, nothing is new. Everything came out of the storage box. I did window shop for Valentines things, but the Wal-mart stuff just looked cheaply made and by the time I looked at Hobby Lobby, their stock was really picked over. I don't think I needed anything anyway.

  4. We are on the same wave length. I too took down my winter decorations yesterday and I am working on my Valentine's Day decorating now. I have two white branches like I used for the winter tree and some pretty glass hearts.

I love your tree! How sweet all those heart ornaments are! And the crocheted hearts your mother made are just beautiful. Of course, it all matches those beautiful toile valances in the very best way.
