New Apron

Here I am in my just-finished apron. All the edges are finished with bias tape and it was more fussy-type sewing than I prefer.
I cut out but have not yet started sewing on the other full length apron in this pattern. I bought the pattern on sale at Hobby Lobby for 99 cents and chose it mainly for that apron.
If you like the one I just made but don't want to buy a pattern, Susan Branch has a very similar pattern that you can print free at her website.

  1. Hello,

  2. Rhonda - I love this apron! So cute!!

  3. This apron is so sweet!

I have to tell you that your motto about getting stuff done has helped me numerous times in recent weeks. When I just want to veg, I recite it to myself and go get something accomplished. :o)

  4. Cute apron - think I have some apron patterns you might want to claim - also HL 99 cents.

  5. Wow that is sweet. I made two dresses this week for my little girls. My first ones ever. Its such a feeling of accomplishment.

  6. I LOVVVE that apron. I started a collection of older aprons a couple of years ago, but I have been seriously thinking about making myself one. But I have 0 sewing skills.
I dont think I have seen a pic of you yet, it is so nice to put such a pretty face with your writing now.
    Your fellow Okie

  7. Thank you all very much for the compliments!
